 CALLUMN WINTER DISPOSABLE VAPES

Today we’re bringing you a review of the MOTI BOTO 6000; the latest disposable vape from the increasingly popular MOTI brand.

The MOTI BOTO 6000 has a rechargeable 480 mAh internal battery, holds a whopping 14ml of e-juice, and comes in a choice of 10 mouth-watering flavors. Available in a 50mg/ml nicotine strength, the BOTO 6000 also features a mesh coil for improved and consistent flavor.

We’ve had the pleasure of reviewing several MOTI products over the past couple of months and we’ve been blown away by the consistently great quality of their vapes. If previous offerings like the MOTI Box R7000 disposable are anything to go by, the BOTO 6000 promises to deliver excellent flavor and vapor production!

At Vaping Hardware we’re on a mission to help our readers find the best disposable vapes… Join us to see where the MOTI BOTI 6000 lands on the list.

What’s in the Box?

The MOTI BOTO 6000 comes packaged in a tall, slim box that’s color coded to match the flavor of the disposable inside. On the front of the box you’ll see a typical nicotine warning along with an image of the BOTO 6000, the name of the flavor, the nicotine strength and the puff capacity.

On the back of the box there’s a list of specifications and ingredients along with a QR code to check the authenticity of the BOTO you’ve purchased. On the sides of the box it confirms the amount of e-juice inside the BOTO and the manufacture and best before dates.

Inside the box, the MOTI BOTO 6000 is contained in a branded foil wrapped. Simply tear open the wrapper, remove the silicone mouthpiece cover and the small plastic tab that covers the airflow hole and you’re good to go!

The information on the packaging is fairly comprehensive but it would have been nice to see the PG/VG ratio of the e-juice listed. While it’s not really essential, it’s super handy for those who’re unlucky enough to suffer with PG Intolerance.

MOTI BOTO 6000 | Design and Appearance

With a height of 114.3mm and a diameter of 30mm, the BOTO 6000 is definitely one of the largest disposables we’ve reviewed at Vaping Hardware. With a reasonably chunky body it resembles a short, stubby cigar.

Despite this, with a weight of only 60g it manages to feel sleek and super comfortable to hold. The larger size actually lends itself to a more relaxed grip and the incredibly light weight means you’ll barely notice it sitting in your hand. In fact I regularly carried 2 or 3 with me in a pocket and never once felt weighed down.

The light weight of the BOTO 6000 is due mainly to the almost entirely plastic body. While this gives the BOTO a really lightweight feel, it doesn’t necessarily feel as robust as other MOTI disposables like the PIIN C4000.

The PIIN has a soft silicone body that feels just that little bit more durable. With that being said, I dropped several of the MOTI BOTO’s I received for testing and they all held up perfectly, bar some very minor surface scratches.

As a rechargeable disposable the MOTI BOTO 6000 holds an incredible 14ml of e-juice, with several recharges of the battery required to fully vape it. Rated as a 6,000 puff capacity vape, the BOTO should provide enough e-juice for at least a week’s worth of vaping (more on this later).

It also has an internal battery rated at 480 mAh, meaning the BOTO should provide at least a full day’s worth of vaping in between recharges. Later on in the performance section we’ll take a look at just how long the battery lasts and the total lifespan of a MOTI BOTO 6000.

For those of you who place flavor as the top priority, the BOTO 6000 also features a honeycomb shaped mesh coil which has a larger surface area for increased flavor. MOTI pride themselves on producing disposable vapes that deliver consistent flavor from the first puff until the very last.

As an auto-draw device, vaping the BOTO 6000 couldn’t be anymore straightforward. There are no buttons to speak of and to fire the device you simply puff on the mouthpiece. While it’s a design feature we’ve come to expect it’s still nice to see and makes vaping the BOTO much more convenient.

Aesthetically MOTI have also done a fantastic job! The BOTO 6000 is a cylindrical capsule shaped vape, finished with a metallic matte looking paint that catches the light perfectly and gives it a more premium vibe. There are no hard edges and it feels smooth and comfortable in the hand.

It actually reminded me of a tiny oxygen tank or a CO2 cannister. The only thing that really betrays it as a vape is the black silicone mouthpiece that sits at the top, a design feature I absolutely loved. It makes a nice change from the typical plastic mouthpiece most disposables incorporate and made for a really comfortable draw.

While on the subject of draw, it’s also worth mentioning that the BOTO 6000 is designed as a mouth-to-lung (MTL) vape with a non-adjustable airflow.

In terms of branding there’s a large ‘BOTO’ and letter logo on the front of the vape above the words “satisfy your delicate feelings”. Underneath this there’s a more discrete ‘MOTI’ logo surrounded by small air bubbles. Interesting the name of the flavor is printed on the back of the body on it’s own.

Each MOTI BOTO 6000 has a two tone color design with the branding and the very bottom of the vape a darker color than the rest of the body. It’s a subtle design that goes well with the understated metallic look.

On the base of the BOTO 6000 you’ll find the Type-C USB charge port which is rated at 0.5A. Either side of the charge port are two small holes; one a small LED puff indicator and the other an equally small airflow hole.

When you draw on the BOTO the LED lights up blue for the duration of your puff. When the 480 mAh battery is depleted the LED flashes a total of 10 times to let you know it’s time to recharge. The BOTO 6000 is also designed with pass-through charging which means you can still vape on it while it’s recharging.

Overall I was really impressed with the design of the MOTI BOTO 6000. Despite its larger size, it still feels comfortable to vape on and the light 60g weight makes it super portable and convenient. The capsule/tank style design looks great and the matte metallic paint is a really nice finish.

MOTI BOTO 6000 | Performance

In terms of performance the MOTI BOTO 6000 also ticks all the right boxes! First and foremost the vapor production is great. Just a few seconds of puffing creates a thick and satisfying cloud of the white stuff.

While it’s not capable of creating as dense a cloud as something like the MOTI X Mini, it’s certainly on par with the majority of disposables we’ve reviewed this year.

The throat kick and nicotine delivery are also brilliant. The MOTI BOTO 6000 is designed as a 50mg/ml nicotine strength disposable. This means it does an excellent job of curbing those nicotine cravings and producing a really satisfying throat kick.

For me personally the nicotine strength was a little too much (I typically vape 6mg/ml!), but it’s an ideal nicotine strength for those who aren’t able to vape regularly throughout the day or those looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping.

MOTI BOTO 6000 - Performance 1

In regards to lifespan and battery capacity the BOTO 6000 also performs really well. As a heavy vaper I tend to puff frequently throughout the day. Despite this the MOTI BOTO 6000 lasted me an incredible 8 days!

The BOTO 6000 also maintains a nice consistent flavor throughout it’s lifespan and I didn’t experience any drop off in taste near the end of each device. I was also surprised not to receive any burnt hits across any of the ten MOTI BOTO 6000’s I tested. The only dry hit I received was at the very end of each BOTO after the 14ml of e-juice had been entirely vaped.

Even more surprisingly, not a single of the ten BOTO 6000’s I tested leaked… not so much as a drop of e-juice! This is a personal bug bear of mine and something I’ve experienced on the majority of vapes I’ve used over the years. The fact not a single of the ten BOTO’s I used showed any signs of leaking is testament to the brilliant job the MOTI team have done.

In terms of battery capacity between recharges, I was getting around 2 full days of vaping from each charge of the MOTI BOTO 6000. In total I recharged it 3 times before the e-juice ran out resulting in 8 full days of heavy vaping.

Over a week’s worth of vaping makes the BOTO 6000 an incredibly convenient disposable to use, especially in comparison to a 600 puff capacity vape that I’d typically get through in just under a day. It’s also worth remembering that I’m a very heavy vaper. I’d guess a light-medium vaper would get as much as two weeks worth of vape time.

When the battery does run out of power the blue LED indicator on the bottom flashes 10 times in quick succession. When you plug the BOTO 6000 in to a power source the blue LED stays lit for the duration of the charge. You’ll know it’s fully charged when the LED goes out.

The charge port is rated at 0.5A and all told it takes just under an hour to fully recharge the BOTO 6000. As I mentioned previously the device is also designed with pass-through capability meaning you can still vape it while it’s on charge.

The only negative I could personally find when using the MOTI BOTO 6000 was the airflow. It’s designed as a MTL vape but the airflow for me was just a little too airy and requires a reasonably powerful MTL draw to puff on. While it’s a still a really enjoyable vape I feel like a more restrictive airflow would have made the experience even better.

With that being said, the auto-draw on the BOTO 6000 is super responsive and it’s still a fantastic disposable to vape on. It creates dense vapor clouds and delivers a really satisfying throat kick. I was also blown away by the battery capacity and total lifespan of the MOTI BOTO 6000.

Add to this the fact I didn’t receive a single burnt hit or any pesky e-juice seepage and it’s clear that the MOTI BOTO 6000 is a well designed vape that delivers quality performance!
